MILLI FEMME MAY UPDATE

Milli Femme was created out of necessity. Boom I'm an instant single mother of 3 and I needed money for my kids. They've got to eat. They have needs. I have to supply. . . I MADE MOVES. I started beating faces and selling product.
Turns out . . . I'm great at what I do. Sought after for private sessions and makeup instruction . . . I MADE MOVES. I created "The Milliverse" to cater to the needs of those seeking my help.
Here I am, again, 3 years later, in the midst of COVID-19, out of work, but not out of options. You guessed it . . . it's time to MAKE MOVES.

Milli Femme is OFFICIALLY in Greensboro NC. I am available to the surrounding areas as well. I have built a beauty family in Fayetteville and I am always willing to return to those who may need me. I am also available to those in Raleigh and Durham as well. Charlotte is definitely on my list as well. But, as far as me residing in Fayetteville, it was time to GO! Motivation came by way of my family's dynamic. Also, the town itself is very specific. It caters to it's military community, which is expected and respected. The Ville is on the come up and is growing everyday, which is why I will never hesitate to answer their call.

So, what's next?
I foresee myself venturing off frequently after COVID has settled. As of now, although NC is about to enter its second phase of reopening, I shall not.

My work is being directly in faces. The potential risk is monumental. I would rather wait a little longer than put my family and myself in harms way. But... as soon as I get the green light that its safe, I'll be taking appointments in different cities... which means, you WILL need to make an appointment in the future.
I may not always be available in your area. Making an appointment is SUPER EASY. The navigation bar has a BOOK tab that will allow my clients to ask about dates and times. 


What does this mean for MILLIVERSE?
My makeup boutique and studio will still be located in Fayetteville for now. I am looking for artists who have talent, but need a space to be creative. If you are interested in this program, email me your portfolio at Millifemme@gmail.com  . I'd love to see your work.

Why the Boro?
Raleigh/Durham... been there. Love it. It's hella expensive. There's so much growth in that area that it's prices are starting to compare to that of bigger cities... which is rightfully so. Charlotte... I adore the area and the culture, but at the time of making the decision of where to move, I believed I wouldn't have an opportunity to work in the stores of my choice due to a team already existing in this location. I need hours... Mama still works, and needs cheese for her Eggs. (My kids... Cardi B reference) So, Charlotte was a no go. Finally, Greensboro has a little bit of a support system that I can work with. No matter what, I am still out here starting from square one in a town unfamiliar to me. No matter where I go in NC, there will always be oportunities. So, the Boro here I come! It's time to make moves!

What's the focus on this blog from here on out?
I will be discussing beauty, makeup, family, events, and business. I am building a brand. Milli Femme is my baby and my name. I am my own baby. I need to take care of myself and see that I am growing the way I ought to. You will be able to see the details that go into building my beauty brand. I will share every step of the way: My new portfolio, my events, Beauty Advisor shifts, beauty education, and sharing my missteps in case you're interested in building too. I want to connect with other artists and build relationships based on support and beauty fellowship.
